A gorgeous pair of Art Deco Gold Pinchbeck antique lorgnettes with a refined design on the handle typical of the Era. This pair of eyeglasses or opera glasses feature a “folding” frame that overlaps one another. The lenses snap open into an eyeglasses shape just by pressing a tiny lever on the side of the handle in order to have a pair of spectacles. The lens glass is in excellent shape and is framed decoratively as well as etched on the metal with fine detail. The glasses’ handle ends with a tiny gold rectangular shape so you can wear them on a chain. The lorgnette comes with a black silk cord and toggle for length.
